Babies who are massaged sleep better, have fewer digestive issues and gain weight faster. You will learn techniques to soothe your baby based on ancient tradition and modern research. Hela Babyspa offers limited class size, expert instruction and a nurturing environment. Classes are being offered at both our Georgetown and Chevy Chase locations.

Group Classes Four-week sessions begin the first week of each month for newborns through pre-crawling infants. Maximum class size is 5 families, so be sure to register early! Dads and others are invited to enroll for the entire session or to attend occasional classes. Schedule Sundays 9:45-10:45 @ Hela Georgetown Mondays 10:30-11:30 @ Hela at The Collection (Chevy Chase) Tuesdays 10:00-11:00 @ Hela Georgetown Note: Other dates and times may be available. One-on-One Instruction Work one on one with a Hela infant massage instructor to develop skills in a group class, or receive in-depth attention to your child's individual needs. Techniques can be tailored to suit newborns through toddlers. Offered at both Hela locations. $100 for 45 minutes

Drop-in Class Get a taste of our infant massage instruction class on the third Monday of every month. $65 for 45 minutes

Mother's Tea and Open House Held the third Monday of every month Bring the family and learn more about our infant massage classes and other Baby Spa offerings. Hela massage therapists will be on hand to answer questions and speak about the benefits of pre-natal, postnatal and infant massage. Come spend an hour in our sunny Georgetown space, relax, share light refreshments, and meet other parents. Space permitting, attendees may choose to stay to participate in our drop-in infant massage class, immediately following ($65 fee applies for the class). There is no charge for our Mother's Tea, but we ask that you RSVP by calling or emailing the spa at least 48 hours in advance.
